Hitting instructor

The Hitting Instructor provides baseball instruction across youth, high school, college, and professional player groups. Reporting to the Director of Player Development and Facility Manager, this role delivers individual lessons, small-group sessions, camps, and clinics while supporting fundamental skill building, competitive performance, professional advancement, and recruitment preparation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group hitting instruction across multiple player levels.
• Analyze swing mechanics through observation, video analysis, batting cage technology, and launch-monitor data.
• Lead batting drills focused on skill development, pitch recognition, and performance improvement.
• Plan and organize practices, camps, clinics, and game-preparation sessions.
• Evaluate player performance and track development progress over time.
• Prepare players for competition, recruitment opportunities, and professional advancement.
• Communicate instruction, feedback, and development goals clearly to players.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in baseball hitting instruction.
• Knowledge of hitting mechanics, baseball coaching, swing analysis, and pitch recognition.
• Experience using video analysis, batting cage technology, and launch-monitor data.
• Skills in practice planning and performance evaluation.
• Strong communication and motivational coaching abilities.
