We're seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager to play a key leadership role in the design and delivery of a transformative new children's health campus in the Triangle region. This landmark development will include a 500-bed freestanding children's hospital, outpatient care facilities, behavioral health services, and integrated research and education spaces that will impact generations of patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
In this role, you'll lead complex healthcare projects from concept through construction, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, build lasting client relationships, and mentor the next generation of design professionals. - Serve as the Project Manager for complex healthcare projects, including hospitals and major medical facilities.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases, from planning and design through construction administration and closeout.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and overall project performance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
- Facilitate design reviews, project meetings, and technical work sessions.
- Oversee project quality, QA/QC processes, and technical excellence across all deliverables.
- Partner with leadership on project planning, resource allocation, and financial performance.
- Support business development efforts, client presentations, and pursuit activities.
- Mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- Registered Architect (RA) with active professional licensure.
- 12+ years of professional architectural experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience leading architectural projects.
- Healthcare project experience, including hospitals or complex healthcare environments.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with children's hospitals or pediatric healthcare facilities.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED practices.
- PMP certification or interest in pursuing certification.
- Experience supporting marketing, business development, and client pursuits.
- Familiarity with architectural and engineering coordination on large-scale healthcare projects.
This position is based in our downtown Raleigh office and follows a hybrid work schedule that balances in-person collaboration with remote flexibility. Team members work closely with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders both in the office and on-site.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.67 - $64.90/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
