Phlebotomist - Now Hiring

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced phlebotomist to join our team at a nationally recognized hospital lab. This role involves performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens with precision and care.

• Perform blood draws and venipunctures accurately.
• Label and process specimens, including blood and urine.
• Centrifuge specimens and ensure proper handling.
• Greet patients warmly and professionally.
• Enter physicians orders or retrieve existing orders from the system.
• Collect payments from patients when necessary.
• Troubleshoot difficult blood draw situations, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Ensure all specimens are scanned and logged appropriately.

• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and difficult sticks.
• Proficiency in venipunctures within a lab or hospital setting.
• Ability to perform lab draws and specimen processing.

• 1+ year of experience in a medical diagnostic lab or hospital laboratory.
• High School Diploma or GED.

This position is based at the Ocala patient service center located on 17th St in Ocala, FL. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. The role offers the opportunity to work with a large, well-established medical diagnostic company onsite at a nationally recognized hospital lab.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
