Job Description:
Position Summary: Must do X-rays & Fluoro, which includes going to the OR
Shift Information
WEEKEND SHIFT: SAT/SUN/MON- 3/12S Rotating
Position Responsibilities:
Transports patients according to their physical abilities relative to the exams requested.
· Uses positioning aides as needed to produce a quality patient exam.
· Operates all CT associated equipment.
· Protects patient according to X-Ray Department policies and procedures.
· Assists/administers contrast media as ordered by Radiologist.
· Assists in performing special procedures.
· Practices sterile technique and Universal Precaution.
· Maintains all records according to X-ray Department policies and procedures.
· Cleans rooms following each examination.
· Restocks linen and supplies as needed.
Required Education & Experience:
Two years previous experience.
Satisfactory completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA approved school and is registered by the ARRT.
Registered/certified ARRT CT Technologist required.
AHA BLS Certification Required.
