Description
American Traveler is hiring a Multimodality CT Technologist (X-Ray & CT) for an acute care hospital, requiring 1+ year of experience and ARRT certification.
Details
- Multimodality Tech role covering X-Ray and CT in an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- No on-call requirement
- Weekend coverage required as part of scheduled shifts
- May float within scope to sister facilities in the division as needed based on critical staffing needs
- Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT) certifications required
- SCRQSA (R) and SCRQSA (CT) certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Epic charting experience required
- Radiation badge required, to be provided by the traveling clinician
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
- Skills in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
- Experience with coronary CTA and vascular CTA preferred
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
- Proficiency with peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
- Experience with PACS, Philips, and Siemens equipment preferred
- C-arm and O-arm support experience preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted
- Black and teal scrub color required
- Charting conducted via Epic, with Sectra used for PACS
- Free parking provided with a pass distributed at start date
- During hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
- Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced bill rate
- 60-mile radius rule applies, with non-local candidates prioritized
- Previous MUSC staff (including PRN) must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- All RTO must be submitted at time of offer for approval based on facility needs
