Safety Manager – Manufacturing

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of Safety/EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing, metal fabrication, machining, welding, or a similar industrial environment
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and recordkeeping
• Experience managing a manufacturing/industrial safety program
• Experience conducting safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations
• Experience developing and conducting employee safety training
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, PPE, Hazard Communication/SDS, forklift safety, and material handling
• Experience with environmental compliance, regulatory reporting, hazardous materials, and/or hazardous waste
• Ability to work hands-on and spend significant time on the manufacturing floor
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
• Must be flexible to occasionally support second shift, which begins at 3:30 p.m.

Preferred

• OSHA 30-Hour certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Sheet metal, metalworking, or fabrication safety experience
• Experience preparing for OSHA, environmental, insurance, or customer audits
