Nuclear Medical Technician

Role Summary: 

As a Nuclear Medical Technician, you will play an essential role in assisting with the compounding and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals and other services to medical care providers and facilities under highly regulated State and Federal guidelines.  

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

Prepares and dispenses radiopharmaceuticals per physician prescriptions and Company, State and Federal regulations. 

Performs Quality Control testing on all dispensed products. Assesses medications to determine identity, purity and strength. Ensures all nuclear products meet the quality and efficiency standards. Complies with all Company, State and Federal requirements for the handling and shipping of radioactive material. Keeps laboratory clean as per regulatory specifications. 

Acts as a customer service liaison for the company, including treating all internal and external customers with respect, listening to and assisting in resolving customer complaints. Informs management of complaints or requests in a timely manner.

If needed, ensures the timely delivery of nuclear pharmacy products to predetermined customers on specific routes while meeting internal schedule and quality standards. Unloads products as per client specifications while providing excellent customer service. Accepts returns from clients where applicable.
