Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM CST

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support overnight warehouse operations in Millington, TN. This role is responsible for material handling, inventory organization, shipping and receiving functions, and maintaining an efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling & Order Fulfillment

• Pick, count, stage, package, and prepare inventory for customer orders.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Assemble and prepare orders for shipment according to operational requirements.

Inventory Management

• Sort, rack, label, and store products based on size, product type, and inventory codes.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage and material handling practices.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock verification activities.

Forklift & Equipment Operation

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently following company procedures.
• Transport materials, products, and shipping containers throughout the facility.
• Utilize hand tools for crate assembly, disassembly, and other warehouse-related tasks.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.

Documentation & Recordkeeping

• Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation accurately.
• Verify shipment quantities, labels, and related records.
• Maintain inventory tracking records and warehouse documentation.

Team Support & Customer Service

• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and operational teams.
• Communicate effectively regarding inventory needs, shipment status, and operational issues.
• Support training and onboarding activities for new team members as needed.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

Warehouse Organization & Safety

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Ensure dock areas, storage locations, and workstations remain orderly.
• Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
• Assist with resolving operational issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Preferred

• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification within 3-6 months of hire.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Experience using inventory management systems, scanners, or warehouse software.
