Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined Mechanical Helper to join a growing company specializing in rotating equipment repair and maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn a skilled trade.

We are looking for someone with DRIVE, ambition, and a willingness to learn! You do not need to be an experienced mechanic, but you must be dependable, hardworking, and interested in developing a long-term career in the mechanical field.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist experienced mechanics with the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating equipment.
• Work with industrial pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical components.
• Use basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Assist with cleaning, inspecting, and preparing equipment and parts for repair.
• Learn to identify mechanical components and understand how equipment operates.
• Help with equipment assembly, shop maintenance, and general mechanical tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Take direction from experienced technicians and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with an interest in industrial equipment and machinery.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to learn are a MUST.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools preferred.
• Previous experience in mechanical work, automotive repair, maintenance, or industrial environments is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently when needed, and contribute to a team.
• Comfortable performing hands-on physical work in a shop environment.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to start at the helper level and grow into a skilled mechanical technician.
