International Relocation Coordinator | DoS, DoW & GSA Moves

Quality Services Moving, a premier household goods relocation firm headquartered in Lorton, VA, is seeking an experienced International Relocation Coordinator to support its growing international division. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service while arranging international DoW, DoS, and GSA household goods moves in an efficient, compliant, and cost-effective manner, from shipment acceptance through delivery.

The Coordinator oversees the entire move process, enters shipment status updates into applicable systems, and maintains regular contact with all parties involved to ensure shipments are serviced on time, documentation is received, and quality service is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipment offers, evaluate logistical feasibility and profitability, and decide whether to accept or reject each offer
• Develop and maintain relationships with business partners to support regular work and operational expansion
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure shipments are scheduled appropriately and the necessary equipment, materials, and qualified personnel are available
• Oversee contractual and regulatory compliance, rate and compensation schedules, and billing and collections for shipments booked by the department
• Train staff responsible for servicing shipments, processing documents, and entering shipment status and billing data into company systems

Requirements

• 2+ years of logistics or transportation coursework, military experience, or equivalent work experience, preferably in freight forwarding or household goods moving
• 1+ year of experience servicing ITGBL, UAB, iHHG, and/or CHAMP shipments
• Ability to obtain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge if hired
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Reliable transportation to and from our Lorton, VA facility (please note: the facility is not accessible by Metro)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with or knowledge of the DoD Defense Personal Property System (DPS), DoS Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), and/or GSA Transportation Management Services Solution (TMSS)
