People Source is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent with a proven track record leading large, multimillion-dollar commercial electrical construction projects throughout the DFW Metroplex.
We need a hands-on field leader who can manage electrical crews, coordinate with general contractors and other trades, maintain production schedules, and hold teams accountable for safety, quality, and performance. Successful candidates must have experience overseeing commercial electrical projects from initial mobilization through inspections, punch lists, and final turnover.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily electrical field operations on large commercial construction projects.
- Direct foremen, journeymen, apprentices, and subcontractors across multiple crews and work areas.
- Plan manpower, material deliveries, equipment needs, and work sequences to meet project milestones.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and approved changes.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades to resolve field conflicts and keep work moving.
- Oversee installations involving electrical distribution, switchgear, transformers, panels, feeders, conduit, grounding, lighting, and related systems.
- Monitor labor productivity, control rework, and communicate potential schedule or cost impacts.
- Enforce jobsite safety requirements and ensure installations meet applicable codes and project specifications.
- Participate in coordination meetings and maintain accurate daily reports and progress updates.
- Manage inspections, testing coordination, punch-list completion, and project closeout.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Superintendent overseeing large, multimillion-dollar commercial projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple electrical crews and foremen on demanding construction schedules.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations, electrical drawings, and NEC requirements.
- Experience coordinating manpower, materials, inspections, and work with other trades.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify field issues early, establish priorities, and follow through on corrective action.
- Ability to work at project locations throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
