Travel Cath Lab Technologist – Port Huron, MI
Facility: McLaren Port Huron – Cath Lab
Location: Port Huron, Michigan
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Shift: Days
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 5 days/week
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Option: Open to 4×10-hour shifts
Call: 6–10 days/month, including weekends
Weekend: Approximately 1 weekend/month
Weekly Call Requirements: Based on department needs and staffing
Position Overview
McLaren Port Huron is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support its cardiovascular and special procedures team.
The technologist will perform and support vascular, cardiovascular, and special procedures, while ensuring high-quality diagnostic studies and maintaining continuity of patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform and assist with vascular, cardiovascular, and special procedures.
Support quality diagnostic imaging and procedural studies.
Coordinate examinations and procedures to promote efficient patient care.
Assist with implementation of the patient's plan of care.
Maintain efficient department operations and workflow.
Demonstrate dependability and professionalism.
Maintain clinical competency and participate in ongoing professional development.
Support McLaren Port Huron's commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
Requirements
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology OR graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
ARRT certification/registration required.
BLS certification required
ACLS required within one year of hire.
At least 1 year of vascular, cardiac Cath Lab, or Special Procedures experience preferred.
Strong clinical, technical, and communication skills.
Ability to participate in the required call rotation.
