About the Role

We are seeking a Lead, Bakery Maintenance (3rd Shift) to join our team at Ontario, CA bakery. As a Lead, Bakery Maintenance, you will support the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing maintenance team members and ensuring equipment and facility readiness to meet daily production requirements. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, efficient, and food-safe operation while promoting compliance with maintenance, quality, and safety standards.

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 3rd Shift
  • Hours: 10:00 pm- 5:30 am
  • Weekend Availability: As needed

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $38- $42

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

  • Lead and support maintenance team members to ensure safe and efficient operations during assigned shift.
  • Maintain facility equipment and systems in a state of operational readiness to support production goals.
  • Inspect, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues to minimize downtime.
  • Promote compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, allergen, and workplace safety standards.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
  • Foster communication and collaboration between maintenance and production teams to address equipment and food safety concerns.
  • Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and required documentation.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and respond to equipment issues in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • 5 or more years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment.
  • Experience supporting high-speed production equipment.
  • Knowledge of fermentation, bun production processes, and bakery operations.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and food safety.
