Description: About the Job
Are you a machinist who likes making precise parts and getting them right? We're hiring Machinists for a manufacturer in Milwaukee. You'll set up and run lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines to produce metal parts from engineering drawings. If you have shop experience and care about holding tolerances, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do
• Set up and run machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines
• Read engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to plan each job
• Select and install cutting tools, attachments, and fixtures
• Measure and inspect finished parts with precision instruments to make sure they're in tolerance
• Load and unload parts safely and position them correctly
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and equipment issues
• Do routine machine maintenance — cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts
• Keep records of machine settings, tool changes, and part measurements

What You Need
• Machining experience on manual and/or CNC equipment [list required machines or controls]
• Able to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to stand for your full shift and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation and good attendance

Nice to Have
• CNC setup and basic programming experience (G-code)
• Experience with GD&T
• Machining certificate or technical school training
