Retail District Manager

The Retail District Manager will oversee a district of 3–20 stores, driving sales growth, store execution, team development, and operational turnaround. Reporting to a Regional Vice President, Senior District Manager, or Director of Retail Operations, this role partners with store teams through regular and frequent district travel while building a foundation for advancement into merchandising leadership, regional management, or corporate retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute district strategy to support sales growth and operational performance.
• Monitor store performance, prepare sales forecasts, and manage district budgets.
• Conduct regular store visits to evaluate execution, customer experience, visual merchandising, and compliance.
• Oversee inventory levels and merchandising standards across assigned stores.
• Develop, coach, and mentor store teams to strengthen performance and leadership capability.
• Support talent acquisition and performance management across the district.
• Prepare performance reports and communicate results, priorities, and improvement plans.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in multi-unit retail management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Experience with multi-unit management and retail operations.
• Knowledge of sales forecasting, budget management, and inventory management.
• Experience with visual merchandising and performance analytics.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
