Field Operations & Equipment Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tree Climber to perform safe and efficient tree removals, pruning, rigging, and related arboricultural operations.

This is a production-focused role for a skilled professional who can work independently, think ahead, maintain high safety standards, and contribute to overall crew efficiency.

• Perform technical tree climbing for removals, pruning, and rigging operations

• Execute work in accordance with applicable arboricultural safety standards, including ANSI Z133

• Coordinate effectively with crane operators, ground crew, and other team members

• Set up, operate, and manage rigging systems safely and efficiently

• Plan climbs, cuts, and rigging operations with strong situational awareness

• Inspect, maintain, and properly use climbing gear and equipment

• Maintain an organized and safe jobsite

• Contribute to efficient production and job completion

• Communicate clearly with crew members and leadership

• Follow work orders and job instructions using mobile systems

• Identify potential hazards and take appropriate action to maintain jobsite safety

• 3+ years of professional tree climbing experience, preferably in a production environment

• Strong experience with tree removals, pruning, and rigging

• Experience with crane-assisted tree work preferred

• Crane climbing experience preferred

• Valid and insurable driver's license required

• CDL preferred

• ISA Arborist Certification preferred

• Ability to work safely in physically demanding and fast-paced environments

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a crew

• Ability to adapt to different trees, properties, and jobsite conditions

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity

• English proficiency required
