Skilled Construction Laborer – $18/Hour

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Location: Birmingham, AL

Job Description

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Skilled Construction Laborers to assist with concrete installation and general construction projects. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position requiring heavy lifting, experience with construction tools, and the ability to work outdoors.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with setting, pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete.
• Prepare job sites for concrete installation.
• Set and remove concrete forms.
• Lift, carry, and move heavy construction materials and equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools.
• Assist with site preparation, digging, leveling, and cleanup.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced crew members.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Previous construction or concrete experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable performing heavy lifting throughout the workday.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work as part of a team.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
