A locum tenens Licensed Clinical Psychologist is needed at an adult female correctional facility providing behavioral health services to patients with a broad range of mental health and behavioral needs. The facility is willing to license qualified candidates, with licensing costs covered, and credentialing can be expedited for a prompt start. Travel and housing are also covered for the duration of the assignment.

The area is situated along Interstate 80 in the heart of the state and offers a range of local attractions. Notable destinations include the Wessels Living History Farm, the Clayton Museum of Ancient History, and the Anna Bemis Palmer Museum. Outdoor amenities such as Harrison Park, Recharge Lake, and the York Country Club golf course provide options for recreation, complemented by local shops, dining, and community landmarks, including a notable hot air balloon water tower.

This is a full-time, Monday - Friday, on-site position totaling 40 hours per week, with no anticipated call. The clinical psychologist will treat an adult female correctional population, including individuals with serious mental illness, trauma histories, behavioral concerns, and other complex mental health needs. Responsibilities include individual therapy, psychological and diagnostic evaluations, psychological testing, crisis intervention, risk and mental status assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and behavioral plans. The clinician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team, participate in treatment meetings, and complete clinical documentation and reports. Correctional or forensic experience is preferred but not required.
