Material Handler

Position: Material Handler

Shift: 1st shift (9:30am -7:30pm)
Schedule: Monday through Friday with overtime available on Saturdays
Pay Rate: $19.00
Location: South Windsor, CT

Job Responsibilities

• Locate, retrieve, and pull parts accurately based on work orders
• Use a handheld device with an integrated barcode PDA scanner to pick and track parts
• Pick, scan, and load parts into a three wheel buggy cart for processing
• Package, prep, and stage parts for delivery
• Tag and label all parts correctly according to destination
• Inspect pulled parts, ensure accuracy for work orders, and restock products as needed
• Replenish inventory and maintain an organized warehouse
  

Requirements

• Able to start as soon as possible
• Minimum one year of inventory experience
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience using a PDA scanner
• Experience with forklift or cherry picker is a plus and offers advancement opportunities
• Able to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
