Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for assisting with machine setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Pay rate ranges from $17-18/HR.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, adjustment, and operation of production machinery according to work orders and product specifications.
• Process manufacturing batches and materials while adhering to established production procedures and quality standards.
• Load raw materials and monitor production runs to ensure machines operate efficiently and output meets requirements.
• Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and assist with basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Identify mechanical issues and communicate concerns to maintenance or supervisory personnel as needed.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance production processes and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and operational documentation.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and manufacturing guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
