Construction Site Superintendent

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction site operations to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards.

• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, site inspectors, and field crews.

• Monitor team performance, productivity, and progress to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and construction standards.

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, materials, and job sites to maintain quality and safety.

• Prepare reports, construction schedules, and redlined project plans for owners, architects, project managers, and management.

• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other construction professionals to resolve site issues.

• Assist with field labor tasks and operate hand and power tools, forklifts, skid loaders, and other equipment as directed.

• Train new team members and ensure crews follow established procedures and safety practices.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site by properly handling materials and storing tools and equipment.

• Take job site photographs and ensure they are uploaded to the appropriate company project folders.

• Complete required paperwork and travel between multiple construction sites as needed.

• Ensure materials and equipment are available to support uninterrupted project progress.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in the construction industry.

• Valid driver's license.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of construction site operations, safety regulations, and building codes.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate field crews effectively.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.

• Experience operating hand and power tools, forklifts, skid loaders, or similar equipment is beneficial.
