Staff Pharmacist in Park Falls, WI

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A family-owned independent pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist for maternity leave coverage through the end of November. This role offers experience in a traditional retail pharmacy setting, utilizing the PioneerRx system. The pharmacy environment is supportive and collaborative, working alongside two pharmacy technicians with primarily solo pharmacist responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform prescription verification and ensure accuracy in all dispensing activities
• Provide patient counseling to support medication adherence and health outcomes
• Oversee workflow to maintain efficient pharmacy operations
• Administer immunizations and vaccines as needed
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to deliver exceptional patient care

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday with potential schedule fluctuations based on PRN pharmacist availability
• Rotating Saturday shifts required; pharmacists working Saturdays receive an additional day off during that week
• Pharmacy closed on Thanksgiving Day
• Training days may be available prior to assignment start, depending on timing

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license in the state
• Experience with retail pharmacy, preferably independent pharmacy setting
• Proficiency with PioneerRx system is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a small team
