Salary: $140,000–$165,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist with a strong interest in working with children. The ideal candidate will perform comprehensive eye examinations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate effectively with patients, caregivers, and the clinical team.

Responsibilities:

• Examine patients, diagnose eye diseases, and provide appropriate treatment and procedures.
• Develop individualized vision treatment plans using accepted clinical and diagnostic techniques.
• Respond promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs.
• Refer patients to vision specialists when appropriate.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient case files, including medical histories.
• Educate patients on general eye health and preventive practices.
• Stay current with the latest vision treatment techniques and clinical practices.
• Foster a positive practice environment that supports team satisfaction and retention.
• Support staff development, feedback, and professional growth.
• Contribute to achieving organizational and practice goals.
  

Qualifications:

• Active state optometry license in good standing.
• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire or maintain a Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage a diverse workload.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
