Material Handler/Forklift - Weekly Pay

Gojob is hiring a Forklift Operator in Fairfield, OH. This position is responsible for the routine shipping and receiving tasks. Must be able to identify information on incoming or outgoing shipments with purchase orders, invoices, or other documents.

Must have at least 6 months of SAP experience
Must be proficient in Excel (basic functions)

Pay varies by Shift

• 1st Shift: 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday - $25/hr

Responsibilities:

• Keep production and assembly areas continuously supplied by kitting materials on the line, so every part for an order is at the point of use and the line keeps moving at a steady pace.
• Pick parts from Kanban or storage areas into kits, keep the right quantities in stock, and replenish the Water Spider from inventory.
• Follow detailed work instructions for repetitive supply tasks. You may operate a forklift or hand truck to deliver or pick parts.
• Sort and count parts and supplies, log inventory, and trace lost items when needed.
• Inspect parts for damage or defects, record any discrepancies, and notify the supervisor and/or purchasing.
• Take care of equipment and supplies, support safety and environmental improvement, and record all material movements on a tablet.

Qualifications:

• 6 months of SAP experience (required)
• Experience in Excel, proficient with basic excel functions (tables, xlookup, filtering, etc.)
• 2 years’ experience in material handling environment
• 2 or more years operating Sit Down (electric)
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to operate scissor lift/cherry picker
• May be required to certify in PIT equipment
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Requires ability to reach overhead, lift up to 26 pounds, and be on feet for long hours, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing
