Job Description
We are looking for a bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our retail team in Fullerton, California in a contract capacity with the potential for a permanent role. This onsite position supports daily HR administration while helping maintain a safe, compliant workplace for a busy facility environment. The role is well suited for someone who can balance employee support, recordkeeping, training coordination, and safety oversight in a fast-moving setting.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee core human resources activities such as onboarding, employee separations, and the preparation and maintenance of personnel documentation.
• Keep employee files and HR records accurate and up to date while supporting data entry and tracking within HR systems.
• Assist with payroll-related coordination by reviewing timekeeping details and helping address discrepancies promptly.
• Work closely with supervisors and leadership to support staffing plans, employee communications, and day-to-day workforce needs.
• Deliver and organize employee training, including orientation programs and ongoing workplace policy education.
• Help administer safety procedures by reinforcing safe work practices and promoting compliance across the site.
• Participate in incident documentation and follow-up efforts, including investigations and corrective action tracking when needed.
• Conduct routine safety checks and workplace inspections, ensuring required reports and compliance records are properly maintained.• At least 1 year of experience in human resources, safety coordination, or a related operational support role.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required for effective communication with employees and leadership.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, food processing, or similarly fast-paced environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems, along with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Working knowledge of workplace safety practices, compliance expectations, and employee training processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation, reporting, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fully onsite role.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently while partnering effectively with management.
