Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support shipping, receiving, and inventory activities in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a Long-term Contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to daily warehouse operations by ensuring materials are accurately processed, tracked, and prepared for distribution. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in inventory control, shipment coordination, and warehouse documentation within a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
• Process inbound deliveries by inspecting shipments, confirming quantities, and recording receipt information in inventory systems.
• Maintain accurate stock records through routine data entry, cycle checks, and reconciliation of physical inventory against system balances.
• Prepare outbound orders by selecting materials, packaging items securely, and completing shipment documentation for carrier release.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery activity with parcel and freight carriers, including platforms such as FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
• Organize warehouse materials to support efficient storage, retrieval, and movement of inventory throughout the facility.
• Review inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or quality concerns and communicate findings to the appropriate team members.
• Build pallets and stage products for shipment while following established handling, labeling, and safety practices.
• Support warehouse and production workflows by ensuring materials are available, accurately tracked, and properly routed.
• Keep work areas clean, orderly, and compliant with safety expectations during daily shipping and inventory operations.• At least 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or warehouse support.
• Practical knowledge of ERP or inventory systems, with preference for Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar Microsoft Dynamics platforms.
• Experience using shipping software and carrier systems, including FedEx, UPS, or USPS tools.
• Strong accuracy in data entry, inventory verification, and shipment documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse setting with minimal supervision.
• Dependable attendance, consistent work history, and strong organizational skills.
• Clear communication skills and careful attention to detail when handling materials and records.
