MRI Technologist - Breast Imaging | Up to $48/hr | Great Benefits

Join us in Rochester, NY, a national leader in breast imaging and breast cancer diagnosis since 1975. As an MRI Technologist on the High-Risk team, you will use advanced MRI technology to care for high-risk and newly diagnosed patients at the first dedicated breast clinic in the United States. This position is located at 170 Sawgrass Drive and offers up to $48 per hour plus a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Review MRI procedures with patients and ensure all safety guidelines are followed.
• Review health histories and screening forms to confirm MRI safety.
• Research implanted devices for MRI compatibility.
• Place IVs and assist with patient positioning.
• Perform breast MRI scans for up to 20 patients daily.
• Work closely with radiologists, including assisting with MRI-guided biopsies.
• Complete accurate chart documentation.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment while complying with applicable regulations.
• Respond calmly and effectively to patient emergencies.
• Troubleshoot technology errors.
• Provide attentive customer service in a high-volume facility while prioritizing patient needs.
• Work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Required Qualifications

• Current state licensing.
• CPR certification.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to maintain strong customer service skills in a high-volume facility.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
