Assembler Water Spider – BC1
Pay Rate: $20.19/hr
Position: Full-Time
Position: Full-Time
Quest Staffing Services is seeking a dependable and organized Assembler Water Spider to support production by ensuring materials are delivered to assembly lines on time and in the correct quantities.
Responsibilities:
- Replenish production lines with materials to prevent delays
- Ensure kits are complete before delivery to assembly cells
- Stage and organize materials for easy access
- Monitor inventory levels and identify material shortages
- Track material movement using warehouse management systems
- Support lean manufacturing, Kanban, and just-in-time replenishment processes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S standards
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to improve material flow
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required: additional training in lean methodologies is a plus.
- 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or production experience preferred
- Knowledge of inventory management and material flow, manufacturing environment
- Experience with Kanban, just-in-time replenishment, or warehouse management systems preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Forklift and material handling certifications preferred
- Ability to identify problems and recommend improvements
Performance Measurements
• Ensure all materials reach production or shipping teams on time and in the correct quantities.
• Maintain precise retrieval and tracking of materials, reducing errors and waste whenever possible.
• Improve and sustain replenishment workflows, ensuring minimal downtime in assembly cells.
• Adhere to and enforce 5S and safety standards, maintaining a clean and structured work area.
• Work effectively across teams to support smooth and efficient operations.
