Elite Home Healthcare is hiring compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and individuals interested in becoming Home Health Aides for a current patient-care need in Farmland, Indiana, near the Muncie area.

As an HHA or CNA with Elite, you'll provide one-on-one care in the patient's home, helping patients remain comfortable, safe, and independent while building meaningful relationships with the individuals and families you serve.

HHA / CNA Responsibilities

As a Home Health Aide or CNA, you'll provide personal care and support under the direction and supervision of Elite's nursing team and in accordance with the patient's Plan of Care.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living
• Helping patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as directed
• Providing personal care that supports patient comfort, dignity, and independence
• Assisting with household tasks essential to the patient's care at home
• Observing and reporting changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse
• Assisting with self-administered medications only as permitted by applicable requirements, the Plan of Care, and Elite policy
• Completing accurate and timely daily care documentation
• Following infection-control, safety, and patient-confidentiality procedures
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and Elite's clinical team

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who are compassionate, dependable, and interested in providing quality home healthcare.

• Current HHA or CNA qualification, or willingness to complete applicable Home Health Aide training
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to read, write, communicate effectively, and follow the patient's Plan of Care
• Dependable transportation to assigned patient homes
• Ability to provide safe personal care and perform assigned physical duties
• Willingness to complete applicable training, competency evaluation, screening, and employment requirements before providing assigned patient care

Previous home health, caregiving, personal care, or CNA experience is valued, but qualified candidates interested in entering the home healthcare field are encouraged to apply.
