Production Associate - Night Shift
Location: Norwood, OH (On the Bus Line)
Training Schedule (First 2–3 Weeks):
- Sunday–Thursday
- 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Regular Schedule (After Training):
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 2 days on, 2 days off (rotating schedule)
Pay
- Training Pay: $16.00/hour
- Full-Time Pay: $17.00/hour (Typically within the first 90 days)
Job Overview
Our client is a leading plastic injection molding manufacturer that produces high-quality precision components. This role is ideal for someone who has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Production Associates are responsible for monitoring parts as they come off the machine, inspecting them for defects, and packaging finished products according to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Load materials into production machines
- Inspect molded parts for quality and defects
- Remove and properly dispose of defective products
- Package products in required quantities
- Label completed boxes accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math skills (counting and simple calculations)
- Basic computer skills
- Good vision (ability to inspect small parts)
- Ability to read and use a scale to weigh products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
