Do you notice the tiny details others miss? Are precision tools and tolerance checks your comfort zone? Would you like to influence how quality decisions are made on the shop floor?

Yes? Then you will:
  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products using a range of measurement tools and inspection equipment.
  • Compare results against specifications/tolerances and log all findings to keep quality metrics accurate and current.
  • Identify nonconformities and collaborate with production to implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
  • Contribute to refining quality procedures, standards, and work instructions.
  • Participate in routine quality audits and continuous improvement projects.
  • Share knowledge by training production staff on standards, methods, and best practices.
What It Takes
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in quality or a related discipline is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a quality inspector or similar role within manufacturing.
  • Solid grasp of quality control methodologies and problem-solving tools.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Comfort interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency with measuring instruments and quality inspection software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
