About this job
Job Description
Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Cotswold area of South Charlotte to find a Full-Time Temporary Nanny (ending in July 2027) for their 3-month-old daughter and, rarely, their three-year-old son (he attends full-day daycare).
The nanny would be needed on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, and on Tuesdays, 7:30 am - Noon.
The best nanny for this family is a caring, nurturing professional who will create a warm and loving environment for their daughter. Reliability is essential; the family is looking for someone who arrives on time, is engaging, and communicates openly and consistently with parents. The role will center on infant care as the 3-year-old attends full-day daycare. Each day, the nanny should keep their daughter on her routine and schedule, engage her child in developmental activities inside and outside of the home, and take her on strolls. As she grows older, the nanny will introduce age-appropriate outings such as story time, visits to children's museums, and other engaging activities.
On occasion, such as teacher workdays, the nanny will also care for the couple's three-year-old son, who loves trips to the park and playing in the backyard. Occasional school drop-offs and pickups for the three-year-old will also be part of the role if the parents are unavailable to pick him up.
Nanny Responsibilities Include:
Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, changing, Napping)
Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level
Playing with the children both inside and outside the home
Doing hands-on learning activities with the children
Household Duties Include (Children are priority):

Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

Pets: The family has a friendly dog (approx. 45 pounds). Nanny should be comfortable with dogs and willing to let the dog outside into the fenced yard (not expected to walk the dog).
