Position: Mechanical Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$125/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write design problems based on professional experience, including loads, constraints, and tolerances.
• Grade AI model analysis for accuracy in free body diagrams, failure modes, and safety factors.
• Identify discrepancies between model calculations and practical applications, considering manufacturability and thermal expansion.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI model performance.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with design or analysis experience.
• Clear written communication skills for explaining reasoning.
• Comfort with ambiguous tasks and ability to flag unclear instructions.
