Job Summary:

Bertrand Chaffee Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Surgery team in Springville, NY. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care in our Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Ambulatory Care Unit, and Endoscopy Suite. Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans

• Collect patient data, complete patient history, and communicate with the healthcare team

• Complete written care plans for assigned patients and direct others in planning patient care

• Identify potential problems, formulate desired outcomes, and incorporate post-operative care into expected outcomes

• Provide direct supervision over LPN, Scheduling Secretary, and Sterilization Tech

• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and hold self and staff accountable for nursing practice

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the State of New York

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, Associate's Degree in Nursing accepted

• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

• Minimum one year of experience in a surgical setting

Competitive hourly rate: $45.09- $53.39 based on experience.
