Tamara De La O State Farm Agency in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is looking for a motivated Insurance Sales Representative to join our team.

This is an opportunity to develop your sales skills, build lasting customer relationships, and grow your career in the insurance industry. Insurance experience is a plus, but we're also interested in candidates with backgrounds in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, telemarketing, or other customer-facing roles.

You'll receive the opportunity to learn insurance products and processes while working with a team focused on helping customers and supporting each other's success.

You do not need to hold both insurance licenses when applying, but you must be willing and able to obtain the required licenses.

What You'll Do

• Connect with prospective and existing customers to understand their insurance needs
  
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, and follow up with customers
  
• Explain insurance products and help customers explore appropriate coverage options
  
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  
• Assist customers with questions about coverage, policy changes, billing, and other service needs
  
• Identify opportunities to help customers protect their vehicles, homes, families, and other important assets
  
• Contribute to agency growth through relationship building, sales, and quality customer service
  
• Continue learning insurance products, sales techniques, and industry requirements

Experience that can help you succeed includes:

• Insurance sales or insurance customer service
  
• Retail or inside/outside sales
  
• Call center or telemarketing
  
• Customer service or other relationship-based roles
  
• A track record of meeting sales goals or performance targets
  
• Insurance industry experience and existing licenses are preferred, but candidates from other sales and customer-facing backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but are not required.

Insurance Licensing Requirements

• Candidates must have an active Property & Casualty license or be willing and able to obtain one.
• Candidates must also be willing and able to obtain a Life & Health insurance license if required for the position.
