Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements

• Complete food preparation and meal service

• Assist with overseeing and directing Dietary Aides

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen

• Follow all state and federal food safety and sanitation regulations

• Follow facility policies and procedures

• Properly handle, store, and prepare food

• Help ensure meals are prepared and served on time

Cook Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous cooking or dietary experience preferred

• Ability to follow menus, recipes, and dietary instructions

• Reliable and dependable

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Commitment to providing quality service to our residents
