Openwork is hiring a dependable Order Puller / Warehouse Associate for an industrial equipment and supply company in Humble, TX.

This position focuses on pulling, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. The company supplies cryogenic and compressed-gas equipment, including valves, hoses, fittings, and regulators.

Qualified candidates should have at least 2 years of warehouse, order pulling, picking/packing, or shipping experience, strong attention to detail, and a professional attitude. The facility regularly welcomes customers and visitors, so reliability and professionalism are important.

Position Details:

Location: Humble, TX Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM–6:30 PM Shift: 1st Shift Industry: Industrial Equipment & Distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Pull and prepare customer orders using pick tickets.
Verify product numbers, quantities, and order accuracy.
Pick, pack, label, and stage orders for shipment.
Prepare packages for parcel and freight shipping.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory counts.
Inspect products for damage or discrepancies.
Organize warehouse materials and maintain inventory.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
Work with the team to meet daily shipping deadlines.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of warehouse, order pulling, picking/packing, shipping, or related experience.
Ability to read pick tickets, packing slips, and product labels.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Professional appearance and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Industrial or mechanical parts experience is a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Active warehouse environment.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Repetitive picking, packing, and material handling.
Ability to safely move boxes and warehouse materials.
Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.

Dress Code:

Business casual attire.
Knee-length shorts are acceptable.
Clothing must be neat and free of inappropriate logos or graphics.
Required safety equipment must be worn when applicable.
