Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor daily warehousing operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Manage scheduling and dispatching of shipments, collaborating with drivers, warehouse staff, and third-party vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipment statuses, and operational metrics using relevant software tools.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues and improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Support the onboarding and training of new staff members within the operations team.
