Caregiver for Elderly

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and patient In-Home Caregiver to provide dedicated physical and emotional support to and elderly male stroke survivor. The primary goal is to maintain his dignity, safety, and comfort at home while actively encouraging his independence and supporting his ongoing stroke rehabilitation. 

The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing stroke-related limitations (such as weakness on one side, mobility challenges, or speech difficulties) and a strong commitment to enhancing the clients overall quality of life. We are also searching for someone who possesses the physical stamina and strength required for lifting, stabilizing, and transferring an adult male. Should have outstanding patience, empathy, and emotional resilience to handle the mood shifts or frustrations associated with neurological recovery.

Billy is my father-in law. He loves fishing, going outside, being with family, and a good home cooked meal. He is hard to "read" but once you understand him he is pretty simple to care for. It does take a lot of commitment and patience at first though.
