Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Route Merchandiser + Delivery Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality products to our customers efficiently and professionally. Your enthusiasm for customer service, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle physical demands will help ensure our clients receive exceptional service every day. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to combine driving, sales, and merchandising skills while representing a trusted local brand.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles along designated routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Load and unload products, including heavy lifting of merchandise such as meats and cheeses
• Interact with customers professionally to deliver products, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service
• Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
• Maintain accurate delivery records, route documentation, and inventory logs
• Conduct route inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness
• Organize merchandise on delivery trucks for efficient delivery and presentation at customer locations

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving or route driving with a clean driving record
• Strong math skills for pricing calculations and inventory management
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques to present products attractively
• Organizational skills for route planning and time management
• Familiarity with sales techniques, upselling strategies, and customer service best practices
• Military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline, reliability, and teamwork
