IV Therapy Clinic – Woodland Hills, CA

We are an IV therapy and wellness clinic in Woodland Hills, CA, focused on providing personalized treatments and quality patient care. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented team member who enjoys working with patients and assisting with both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant with strong blood collection skills and excellent patient service abilities. Candidates must have at least one year of hands-on phlebotomy experience and be comfortable performing blood draws in a clinical setting.
Paid on-site training is provided.
Schedule: This position will initially be part-time during the training period, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position afterward based on performance and the needs of the clinic.
Job Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Perform venipuncture and blood draws using proper collection techniques.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the standard order of draw and appropriate blood collection tubes.
- Properly label, handle, and process specimens according to established protocols.
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain safe sharps disposal practices.
- Assist with patient intake, obtain vital signs, and update electronic medical records.
- Prepare patients for IV therapy, injections, and other treatments as directed by the provider.
- Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and restock clinical supplies.
Front Office & Administrative Duties
- Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and address general patient inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient charts and communicate patient concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Assist with inventory, clinic documentation, and daily operations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of one year of hands-on phlebotomy experience required.
- Current California phlebotomy license or certification appropriate for the duties performed.
- Proficiency in venipuncture, blood collection, and routine blood draws.
- Knowledge of the standard order of draw, tube selection, specimen labeling, and handling.
- Understanding of infection control, standard precautions, and proper sharps disposal.
- Medical Assistant training or relevant clinical experience.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Fluent in English and Spanish — required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to multitask in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous IV therapy, wellness clinic, or medical spa experience is a plus.
