Electrician – 2nd Shift


Experienced & Entry-Level Positions Available


CMS is a fast-growing manufacturing company in El Mirage seeking both experienced and entry-level Electricians for 2nd Shift. We are looking for motivated individuals who are interested in building or advancing their careers in the electrical trade.


The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or manufacturing electrical work. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, and CMS is willing to train the right candidate. Experienced electricians will have the opportunity to utilize their skills in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, renovations, and high-voltage systems.

Our team manufactures high-efficiency custom cooling systems for data centers and works on a variety of electrical and industrial projects. This position provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.


Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Assist with and perform electrical installations in commercial, industrial, and manufacturing environments.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems using testing equipment such as voltmeters, multimeters, and ohmmeters.
  • Bend conduit and install electrical wiring in accordance with NEC and NFPA 70 standards.
  • Perform electrical renovations and modifications while following applicable codes and regulations.
  • Assist with or perform low-voltage and high-voltage electrical installations and maintenance.
  • Install electrical systems and equipment for manufacturing and industrial applications.
  • Follow electrical safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Work alongside maintenance, engineering, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Assist with construction and manufacturing-related tasks involving electrical infrastructure.
  • Identify electrical issues and assist with determining appropriate repairs or solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow instructions and complete assigned work with minimal supervision as experience increases.


Qualifications – Experienced Electricians:

  • 3+ years of electrical experience preferred/required for experienced positions.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or manufacturing electrical work.
  • Strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC/NFPA 70).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Experience using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, multimeters, and ohmmeters.
  • Experience with conduit bending and electrical wiring.
  • Experience working with low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Electrical license or certification is preferred but not required.


Qualifications – Entry-Level Electricians:

  • Electrical training, trade school, construction experience, or related experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Basic ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams is preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment is a plus.
  • Strong willingness to learn conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical safety procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.


CMS is willing to train motivated entry-level candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.


Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift positions available
  • Full-time
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday–Friday
  • Overtime as needed
  • Weekend work as needed
