Non CDL Delivery Driver (Independent Service Provider for Fedex)

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our Decatur, IL team. We have short mileage, in town routes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting. Looking for Non-CDL Delivery Drivers.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean.
• Follow DOT laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record and consent to MVR background check.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 150 pounds) and perform physical tasks related to moving goods.
• Consent to drug test and DOT physical.
