Car Technician

We are seeking a skilled Car Technician to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, hybrid vehicles, and electric vehicles. This role helps ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a mixed vehicle fleet while providing customers with clear repair explanations and service updates.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacement.
• Diagnose vehicle problems using manufacturer-specific systems, standard mechanical tools, and technical knowledge.
• Service and repair transmission systems, brake systems, electrical components, engines, and other vehicle systems.
• Repair or replace faulty components and systems.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and confirm proper operation.
• Explain repairs and provide service updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and document completed work.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturer service guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in automotive repair.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Automotive diagnostics experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, brake systems, electrical systems, and engine repair.
• Technical documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.

Pay is based on experience.

Base Salary plus bonus potential tied to core performance metrics.
