Occupational Therapist (OT)

Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat a variety of adult patient diagnoses in the acute hospital setting, including general deconditioning, total joint replacement, post-op orthopedic, neurological, and general medical-surgical cases
- Provide skilled therapy coverage support at affiliated SNF locations, delivering services to facility residents requiring skilled occupational therapy
- Float to all locations as needed to support combined inpatient and long-term care caseloads; when serving as the sole OT at an LTC location, phone support is available at all times
- Document patient care using EPIC in the acute care setting and Casamba/NetHealth in LTC environments
- Badge in and out of the facility per required protocol; adhere to dress code guidelines (polo or business casual attire)
- Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy License (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Active BLS certification — American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Experience with inpatient acute care settings
- Experience with skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings
- Willingness to float to all locations as required by the assignment
- Must live more than 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates; candidates within 80 miles may be subject to a reduced rate
- At least 1 year of acute care experience within the past 3 years
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
- Familiarity with Casamba or NetHealth documentation platforms used in LTC environments
- Opportunity to work across a diverse caseload spanning acute care and skilled nursing settings, offering broad clinical exposure
- Structured orientation program including computer-based organizational training and one-on-one department and documentation system training
