Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Med-surg experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience preferred. Bone marrow transplant experience preferred.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with the manager upon arrival at the facility.

Unit Details: Equipment includes Mobilab, Welch Allyn vital machine, and Alaris IV pump. Procedures include high-dose chemotherapy, stem cell infusions, blood transfusions, electrolyte replacements, and central line maintenance. Patients have an average length of stay of 14-21 days. The patient population is immunocompromised.

Shift & Scheduling: 2-3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period.

Floating Requirements: Floating areas include other oncology floors (3C and 4N) and Main Tower Med-Surg.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
