Travel X-Ray Technologist – Job Description

Department: Radiology – X-Ray
Specialty: X-Ray Technologist
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: 4 × 10-hour shifts (days/evenings, including afternoons)
Schedule: Rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required, as applicable to the role.
• BLS certification required.
• State license required for submission; facility is willing to wait for licensure.
• Any license-related issues must be disclosed at the time of submission.
• Experience working with inpatient and outpatient imaging is beneficial.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray imaging for inpatient and outpatient populations, including patients of all ages.
• Perform C-arm procedures for pain management injections every Wednesday (one shift per week).
• Operate portable X-ray equipment for imaging as required.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and department procedures.
• Collaborate with radiology supervisors and other healthcare professionals.
