Key Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration in Mammography (ARRT-M or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience as a Mammo Tech performing routine and diagnostic mammograms
• In-depth knowledge of digital mammography equipment, protocols, and regulatory compliance
• Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and imaging department standards
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations
• Proficiency in documentation and radiology information systems is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct and document high-quality mammography exams according to physician orders and department protocols
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and dignity throughout their visit
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team to ensure optimal workflow and patient outcomes
• Adhere to established safety and infection control protocols at all times
• Assist with patient scheduling and department support as needed to maintain efficient operations
