URGENT OPENING:  AP / Staff Accountant
Title: Staff Accountant / Accountant
Location: Long Beach, CA (Hybrid)
Position Type: Temporary Project
Pay Rate: $30–$33 per hour, depending on experience

Our client is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant who is available to start immediately! This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with strong Accounts Payable experience to help bring AP records up to date, resolve outstanding items, and support accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Process vendor invoices, assign appropriate account codes, and prepare payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies in NetSuite.
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, particularly accrued expenses.
  • Review and resolve outstanding invoices, payment issues, and AP discrepancies in NetSuite.
  • Support account reconciliations and general accounting functions as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• • Hands-on experience with NetSuite is required.
  • At least 3 years of accounting and/or full-cycle Accounts Payable experience. (NetSuite Preferred) 
  • Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payment preparation, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formulas.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
