Physician Assistant – Pediatric Radiology
\nPosition Summary
\nDriscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric Radiology team. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with pediatric radiologists and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
\nThis position offers an opportunity to work in a specialized pediatric environment while supporting the Radiology team in the evaluation, preparation, and care of patients before, during, and after procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and an interest in caring for children and adolescents.
\nJob Details:

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm \n
- Responsible for performing all fluoroscopic (fluoro) procedures within the department \n
- Will participate in on-call rotation for fluoroscopic procedures (7 days per month) \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program (required). \n
- Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) (required). \n
- Eligible for or able to obtain a Texas Physician Assistant license (required). \n
- Current BLS certification. \n
- Ability to obtain and maintain hospital and medical staff credentials and privileges as required (required). \n
- Previous experience in pediatric radiology or pediatric interventional radiology (required). \n
Work Environment
\nThe Physician Assistant will practice in a specialized pediatric hospital environment and collaborate closely with pediatric radiologists, nurses, radiologic technologists, anesthesia providers, child life specialists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
\nThe position may involve caring for patients ranging from neonates through adolescents and young adults, including patients with complex medical conditions.
